Activated alumina is a specially treated type of alumina (chemical formula Al2O3) with characteristics such as high specific surface area, porosity, high dispersion, and large specific surface area.

Activated alumina is mainly used for dehydration of gaseous and liquid in petrochemical ,electronic ,metallurgy industry ,for instance,air ,oxygen ,nitrogen ,ethylene and propylene etc.
